B&B CENTRAL BRUGES

A short history of BILKSKE :

In the Middle Ages, a street with no name led to a pasture (in Flemish: bilk) with sheep.

In 1929, the pasture disappeared and houses emerged. ‘Bilkske’, as the street was called by the locals,  became the official name of the street. The street became wider and led to a square. Nowadays, Bilkske connects Langestraat and Kazernevest.

B&B Central Bruges is a renovated building. The first owners were marble carvers, which explains the copious use of beautiful white marble. The stained- glass windows are original.

Despite its vintage style, Central Bruges has every modern convenience. The hall and reception room are cosy and inviting. Feel free to help yourself to a cup of fresh coffee or exclusive tea when you arrive.

The three master bedrooms are elegant and feature every modern comfort. Each room has its own toilet and bathroom;  A delicious Flemish breakfast is served every morning. You can relax and unwind in our elegant lounge.
